Happy Customer

ENDORSEMENT As good as our older power cords were, the new + versions, particularly Silver Electra III+, are a lot better. Last month we told you about a great demo. A few days ago we got the following e-mail from a customer. I thought you would like to hear about his experience: Bill,
What did you guys put in this power cord :-)? You’re going to like this story...I live in an old 1950's style house with 2 core electrical. I added a 10ga ground to the system and hooked it to the cold water pipe down in the basement. For the entire time that I have lived here I have had electrical problems. My EAD TM Ovation is very sensitive to power line problems. The washer machine, fluorescent lights, dish washer, etc all cause problems including a loss of digital signal between the transport and TM. The refrigerator and dish washer cause popping noises through my speakers. I have done just about everything I can do...
including adding a bypass capacitor to all the source problems throughout the house which helped but didn’t solve the problem. As of yesterday I had decided I was going to buy some type of power conditioner. I was leery on which to buy...I just got rid of a Tice PBIIIc a few months back because it did nothing to help this problem. Then last night I decided to swap the Electra III [older model] on my TM for the Silver Electra III+. Forget the difference in sound quality, the noise was gone!! I have tried everything today to make noise or cause a loss of digital signal. I cannot. Nothing appears to be effecting my TM. Now maybe we could just say the Electra III was faulty, but then so was my Aurora III, Tice PBIIIc, Tice Infinite Speed, Synergistic Research AC Master Coupler, etc. I have tried all of these in the past year and have not been able to solve the problem. Do you know the filtering difference between the Electra III and Silver Electra III+? I'm just curious.
Alan Maher
In our answer to Alan we gave him the good news: The new Electra III+ does nearly as good a job as Silver Electra III+ and Aurora III+ isn’t too far behind. These cables are real problem solvers!
